The Alpine range are sometimes a little overshadowed by the big reputation of our classic designs such as the Black Ice. The Alpine are steadily developing their own solid reputation. And as somebody commented recently on UK Climbing, "they are a steal at this price!"

We're getting a lot of great feedback about the newer Alpine range of packs. You can read a review of the Podsacs Alpine 40 here http://www.ukclimbing.com/gear/review.php?id=2843

I thought I should just mention that we are running short of the Alpine 30s and it will be a while before we get fresh stock.

How come all your stuff is so cheap ?
What is the catch ?
OP Hugh Cottam 04 Mar 2014
In reply to richardcooper2k:

We're getting asked this question quite a lot at the moment. The simple answer is that we've moved to direct sales so we reduce the supply chain and reduce costs. You can read a more detailed explanation of how Podsacs now operates through its parent company Planet X here..http://www.ukclimbing.com/gear/news.php?id=6181

So there is no catch.

Oh and as an aside, I'm glad that you consider our products to be cheap. The important point to stress is that we are not compromising on quality in order to achieve this.

cheers Hugh

In reply to Hugh Cottam:

Great news - when will you restock the size 2 Black Ice packs? (preferably the Blue-black version).
OP Hugh Cottam 06 Mar 2014
In reply to Mike7:

We're doing our best to get production of these up and running again but realistically it's going to be 2 or 3 months before we get new stock,

cheers Hugh
