Climbed the Couturier couloir on the Aiguille Verte yesterday to ski the Whymper Couloir.

Wow.

The Whymper Couloir has thinned out over the years. Gaston Re'buffat's book has a (summer) picture of it with a carpet of deep snow right the way down. Looks a bit sketchy now, especially the last bit just above the schrund.
