In trainers wasn't it?

In reply to I'd rather be climbing:

Because it was raining. I aways climb in my trainers when it rains.

I can't remember. I was too drunk.

Would be great to find out more. Is it a mixture of trad and sport? Did it require a huge amount of preparation? Who prepared it? How long did it take? How many pitches? Etc, etc.

The logistics of climbing something so continuously overhanging seem mind-boggling.

Sharma always appears a slightly enigmatic figure. You can understand him wanting to retain his privacy. Glowacz really has 'the eye of the tiger' and no mistake.

Oh well, back to the Ordinary Route on the Idwal Slabs for this shameless punter. But we can all dream. And sometimes it's good to dream.

By the looks of it, an amazing effort.

In reply to Mick Ward:

You beat me too it, I was wondering how they prepared the route.
In reply to full stottie:

Daily Telegraph is promoting the video on their online page as "Pair complete hardest climb on earth".
