Is it any good?

Only just heard about it and apparently it's been open over a month. Not too well publicised i guess.

How does it compare to Alter Rock?

I will base my deciision to visit it purely on the responses to this post.

It's good. For bouldering it's much better than alter rock. Similar quality to climbing station or depot. No routes of note though.

Seems strange not to check it out for yourself.

It's a different thing to Alter Rock, so not fair to compare the two, it depends what you want.

No surprise but it's better for bouldering.

Nice variety of stuff.

If you're in Derby you've got to want to try it out, shirley?

NONSENSE! Why try it out for myself when i can ask yous lot?

I'll no doubt get around to it but in the interim it's nice to get a heads up.

Overall it's a great place with a great atmosphere, from what I know some things are still being made such as a training board. It's definitely worth a visit!
