Was just wondering if anyones got any updates on the state of the place? Thinking of heading down there tomorrow. Thanks.

Unless it has been cleaned up significantly since last year take some secateurs. Maybe a machete and flamethrower too.

And a rubbish bag if going to Gorams Chair. Was a disgrace last Time i was there. Took a bit out, but plenty was Left.

Well, its ongoing guidebook work that we started last year. Unfortunately the brambles and ivy and other stuff seems to be particularly virulent at Trym

The small amount I have climbed there had pretty sound rock, but on my first attempt I was unable to top out due to the thickets above the crag and ended up retreating. Second time I took secateurs and cut a load of stuff away, but even then it wasn't easy.

I think if it could be cut back to the point where it was pleasant to climb it would have some real potential.
