Looking for tips on places to go in Europe (preferably not all the way down to the South Of France / the Pyrenees) with a car, inflatable sea kayaks and bikes for adventure trips with two young kids (8 and 5). Ideally lakes as opposed to rivers, with wild camping, interesting and wild scenery, and cycle routes off busy roads and without heinous climbs involved, again with wild camping potential. I am sure there are hundreds if not thousands of suitable locations. Anybody been there and done that, or got any ideas along these lines? Basically happy to go looking for adventure and to rough it. Not looking to packaged / guided trips.
