I have a pronation problem that requires I wear orthotic insoles in my shoes. However, even when using the insoles I find that the soles of my shoes wear quickly, with the greatest wear being on the outside of my heels. This is particularly a problem when wearing trail shoes as they are typically soft-soled and expensive to replace.

Has anyone with similar pronation problems found any good trail shoes that wear less quickly? I'd ideally want shoes where there's plenty of grip and possibly softer sole material at the front but firmer, more durable rubber beneath my heels.

Not quite trail shoes, but surely the hardest-wearing option is youtube.com/watch?v=uf4YyXVoWeA&
