Hi folks,
In a couple of weeks I'll be in the Lake District Keswick area with a work dude and some of his pals....planning on taking them climbing
Not knowing the area that well I'm looking for the following advice..
- Looking for a single pitch crag..
- Ideally one that doesn't get too busy so that I could leave some bottom ropes up without causing offence to other climbing parties
- lower alt to avoid bad weather
- name, grid ref, or UKC link would be awesome

Head End Quarry, near Ireby to the north of Keswick ticks the boxes.
