Hadrians wall

Hi as anyone run Hadrian's wall we are looking to do it in about 2 days overall. With a overnight bivvi.

I did it in 24 hours as bike/run/bike a year ago. I led a group along the path the year before. Basically it is a very nice hilly bit bracketed by boring flat-ish bits.

You will only see the wall itself for about a third of the route, the rest is a mix of existing footpaths and bridleways.

Bivvying is possible, fetch water from one of the lower points and bivvy high to avoid other folk.

I walked it in 23.5 hours a few years ago, so depending on fitness levels, it's more than do able. as rich says bivi off the beaten track. and enjoy it.

The stove works really well and generally has wood precut in the outhouse. Make sure you replace burnt wood though!
