On the 20th September 2014, a brand new state of the art climbing centre, complete with an indoor ice wall, opens in the Lake District.
We at King Kong Climbing Walls have over 20 years experience building climbing walls which will now be combined with a team of crack instructors with over 50 years of combined outdoor instructing experience.
The centre which also runs outdoor activities and courses, will range in height from 8 to 12 metres high. This includes an 8 metre high ice wall, 4.2 metre high bouldering wall, a dedicated training room and a 50 metre long indoor caving system with a large cavern mid route. This is complemented by a dedicated cafe and childrens hard play area.
The walls will range from slabs, verticals, overhangs and a large roof section; all of which are multi-faceted.
The doors will open at 10am on Saturday 20th September
