Was rather nice climbing under the trees in the rain. Scary cows at the moment. Managed to find two belays to set up a shunt line. Anyone climbed there like to share your thoughts. Is the E1 on the left worth clearing the top out for?

Been climbed on sporadically for many years. Used to solo or top rope there in mid 80s until the farmer dumped a load of slurry down the crag. OK for a bit of a work out if living locally.

Keep meaning to walk up & have a try soloing some of the routes there. Worth a visit?

The two lines I was on were thoroughly enjoyable. Vertical climbing on solid limestone. Well worth it of an evening for an hour if you are local. Avoid the cow pats! (I'm quite nervous of cows, but they eventually got bored of me!)

Thanks - that's given me a bit of motivation to make the effort try out some of the routes there.

Just need to find a spare hour in daylight now...

Cool. Will be interested to hear what you make of it.
