Niccolò Ceria on Zombie Nation, 8A, Albarracin, Spain, 4 kbA while ago, Niccolò Ceria visited Albarracin in Spain. As usual, he climbed a lot of difficult problems and produced a nice video.
As many of you no doubt are aware of, access at Albarracin has been limited. The reasons are several, but I'm sure bad behavior among visiting boulderers is one.

Watching this guy send all these climbs was really impressive, truly well done to him. The point I'd like to raise is the amount of tick marks placed on every single climb, were they necessary? Chalk is visible from substantial distances through the forest.

The route he did on the same block as cosmos is at most 5 moves, but you could see him applying multiple marks on certain pockets. As an ambassador for the sport being sponsored and putting videos up on the internet should we not consider the implication this has on climbing and the natural environment we inhabit?

Albarracin is such an amazing place as is Font, shouldn't we look after it in the same manner. It is a sad time when you read about the amount of locations undergoing closures because of neglect from certain climbers.
