Umm, don't mean to be critical but when an article starts:

"Stoney Middleton’s crags are without doubt home to some of the hardest climbs in the world... " I can't help but compare Windy ledge or Garage Buttress to Oliana and Flatanger.

Some other articles are vaguely interesting. I imagine more will be added as time goes on.

Wow, how to take a negative view of what promises to be an accurate and intriguing article.

I agree Al

Looking really good

With regard to hardest climbs in the world, surely he is talking about minus ten.................still cant climb that in any style....
In reply to Al Evans:

Nice Article by Geoff, thanks Al. Looking forward to the next part.
It's my nearest crag now, about 10 minutes walk across the fields.
I reckon some of the later eliminates on Tom's Roof are still up there with the hardest..

It's the very first sentence and it's so totally wrong, such an absurd statement, that it's laughable. To pass it by uncritically seems like not having read it at all.

Quintessence being a good example of that.

Hi Steve

That particular section clearly doesn't form part of Geoff's historical piece, and comes from an unrelated section of the site.
