Was just wondering if anyone with more experience of the area could hazard an educated guess to conditions for this weekend?

Absolutely stunning today, only three parties in the corrie - Parallel B, Polyphemus gully and Central buttress.

Just depends what the temps. does but I would be hopeful it stays good.

Thanks for the info, Parallel A was pretty good on Saturday, although we took far too many ice screws. Solid snow all the way up the left branch of Black Spout today and no cornice dramas.

Just curious - has the big obvious corner at the bifurcation of Parallel A ever been climbed?

Is the big corner the Right Branch and what you thought the Right Branch was the 1930s Route? If you are sure about those, then perhaps not.
