All UKCer's,

I am heading to Laengenfeld, Austria this summer for the European Youth Bouldering comp. Would like to climb on some crags whilst there. Finding it hard to source any topo's other than the generic stuff attached to hotel and campsite web pages. Anyone any help they could give?

Also would like to have a go at running some of the surrounding mountains. Anyone got advice on the best mountain runs, times, difficulty etc?

I would really appreciate any help.

Thanks,

Terence.

I havent been there but have ran further west and further east.

For routes just grab a simple map, alpine trails are well marked and often great trails for running. Up to the snow line or lower peaks are normally pretty accessible. I've not been in that specific area though.

I'll have a look at some calendars and post them but they take some searching..

Here's a calendar:

http://www.laufkalender.ch/en/search.html

www.laufkalender.ch/lk?language=4&page=suchen&mode=list&start=1&onmap=0&ls_datum_tp=&ls_such=&ls_typ=alle&ls_jahr=2015&ls_land=A&ls_suchen=&ls_distanz=alle&ls_monat=alle&ls_region=TIR

You probably want to search Austria and Tirol.

Appreciate that. I was thinking that lots of Austrian Alpine trails would be cook-in-the-bag and ready to do as so to speak. if you do find any info then please post along.

Terence.
