Lovely film about running in wild place, some great shots of the Lakes and snippets from Bland, Stuart, Naylor, etc. From Salomon, but not trying too hard to flog shoes... youtube.com/watch?v=QXPtJ5rRM-M&

This is good too... youtube.com/watch?v=EqAukNnT_M8&

Excellent couple of films ...made me smile and brought back fond memories of living up there until work forced me to move.

Loved the comment about fell running being uncommercialised. Have a couple of guys at work who have started doing some of these "Though Mudder" type stuff ....how much to enter!!!

Almost half the film shot in Glencoe, and no mention of it, people that don't know the area will think it's the Lakes as that's all that's mentioned !

All good, means less people in Glencoe

Yes, odd that. Especially when the narrator is expressing his admiration for the fell runners who have never felt the need to venture outside the Lake District.

Still, I enjoyed nevertheless.

As a side note: Ricky Gates along with Scott Jurek became the first Americans to succeed on the Bob Graham Round last year. I keep seeing Ricky's name in race reports and the like so I assume he's stayed around awhile.

There was that yes, but you know I'm happy for any scraps from that beautiful table
