I happened across the BBC's VE Day Celebrations programme last night and watch Jane Horrocks read a letter written to his mother, by a soldier who went on to die shortly after in North Africa. She did a helluva job, barely keeping it together. It's only a few minutes long but is definitely worth a watch.
