The thing about this isn't just the ludicrous price, it's also that the painting isn' t very good. I'm not anti modern art and I like a lot of Picasso but this is far from being his best work which the price tag implies. It's a bit crap.

Expensive art is a strange concert. I used to go to some auction previews - good to see the work, sad to know it might well disappear again
