Having ticked-off 100% of UKC's Top 23 Climbed Climbs and 91% of Rockfax Eastern Grit: Top 500 ticklists, 29 year-old Dan is a route-logging machine.

Intrigued by his exploits, we thought Dan - our Legend of the Logbooks - would make for an interesting interview subject.

Reading this, I was assuming he'd have logged loads of routes multiple times but only 4 duplicates

I am shocked at the irresponsibility of UKC in publishing a photograph in which the rabbit leading the route is clearly not wearing a helmet

Fair play to the rabbit - by my estimation, as he topped the route out his last runner was about 7 body lengths below him - that's like me topping out about 40 ft above my last gear - pretty bold. Maybe he was well within his grade?

I'm pretty sure I met that rabbit at Millstone one evening, there can't be too many long-haired pet rabbits heading out to the crag!

I met Danny on Stanage last June, he was having an epic day soloing everything in sight including E3s.
He did 274 routes that day! Awesome stuff.

Saw him walk up an E5 at Froggatt once, effortless and very impressive.

*just checked logbooks... It was Hard Chedder E5 6b....... Solo O/S!!

That's a route every 2 and a half minutes for nearly 12 hours! It would take me 12 years!
