Can you still ski off the end of the Argentiere glacier?

Watching the short video elsewhere on UKC showing the glacier in its grubby summer guise, it looks as if it would be difficult to ski off the end and rejoin the piste back down to Lognon or even back to Argentiere. Has the retreat of the ice broken the link or is there still enough snow in winter?

In reply to Rigid Raider:

Perfectly feasible to ski back to Lognon in winter. You rejoin the black piste from the Grand Montet and carry on as normal.

In reply to Rigid Raider:

depends what you mean

as craigloon says fairly easy to rejoin the black back to the Lognon

you can then choose to ski down below the hotel either via Variant de l'Hotel and rejoin the Pierre à Ric
or in good snow even descend down and right back on to the glacier and ski down below the Cremerie climbing area - very conditions dependent
I've only done this twice - once great, once a right mare

No problem at all as long as the snow holds. Did it around Easter time this year but think the Lognan run disappeared a couple of weeks later as it got hot.
