Hi, we camp, climb and walk in the lakes a lot but usually default to staying in either langdale or borrowdale because there so good . I'm after suggestions of where we could go this weekend to spice it up a little. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

The Duddon valley, campsite and pub at Seathwaite also camping at High Wallowbarrow Farm. Climbing, bouldering, walking.

Eskdale, A couple of sites plus a few pubs, climbing (try the granite slabs up the valley) bouldering, walking.

The weather isnt looking too great though. : (

Coniston would be another area to consider, great camping and pubs around there and good climbing, scrambling, bouldering all around the old man area.

Hope the weather is kind to you.
