Val Doonican, famous for being himself on "The Intro and the Outro" has hung up his cardigan and rocked his last chair.
Evidently one of his albums knocked "Sergeant Pepper" off the number one spot in 1968

I always liked his soundtrack song for "Ring of Bright Water", but then saw it in the cinema as a kid where it seemed very powerful.
