After 19 years of running the Yorkshire Bolt Fund virtually single-handedly I have finally found a willing volunteer to take over. Neil McCallum (accynez) will be handling the day to day running of the fund and requests for repairs/replacements or equipment for new routes should now go via him (contact by email to accynez via this site). Donations can still be sent via paypal or direct to Nez, or me as I remain a signatory to the bank account.

Neil is a well known activist on Yorkshire Limestone and capable of getting onto the steeper and blanker walls of Kilnsey/Malham etc. that are no longer (probably never were) reachable with my aching, ageing bones.

I the mean time thanks for all the support and kind donations you have given over the years. The Yorkshire sport climbing scene is all the more vibrant for it.

In reply to Dave Musgrove:

I'd personally like to thank Dave for the amazing effort he has put in over the years. There is no doubt that the Yorkshire area has some of the best bolting around and a lot of this is due to Dave's enthusiasm and dedication to the project.

The profile for Neil McCallum for contacting him is here - http://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/profile.php?id=55081

Donations to the bolt fund and several others can be made through the http://www.ukboltfund.org portal.

Those who have bought the recent Northern Limestone Rockfax guide have also helped to support bolting in this area, and Cumbria - http://www.rockfax.com/news/2015/04/08/rockfax-donations-to-yorkshire-and-c...

Well done on doing a fantastic job Dave. I know what it's like from my Peak regearing exploits and it's very task orientated despite the funding issues. Good look to your successor.
