Hi

Planning a mountain biking trip and one stage goes from Martigny to Chamonix. Having been on the Col de Forclaz once before, I'm not especially keen to repeat the experience.

Does anybody know of any bike trails in the woods nearby? Having trouble finding info.

Also I know people bike the TMB but can't find any decent maps which may show the route in enough detail.

Even just a link to a good website or the name of a good map is much appreciated. I reckon someone on here has found a decent mountain bike trail from Cham to Martigny...

The TMB route goes via Champex and Bovine to the Col de Forclas then over to Le Tour by the Col de la Balme. A bit of carrying involved up to Bovine. There is a 1:50,000 IGN map that covers it called Pays Mont Blanc (might have the name wrong and not at home so can't check).
