Following from my previous request for help/advice on the inner tent of my TN Voyager leaking I am now looking at buying a footprint. Officially TN changed the shape of the tent in 2010 so I have been told that the current model of footprint isn't compatible with my 2009 tent.

Does anyone know what the differences actually are, or even better have tied fitting a post 2010 footprint with a pre-2010 tent? Alternatively if anyone had a pre-2010 footprint in good condition they are looking to sell I would be interested to hear from you.

Thanks
Stu

I have a footprint (keeping) for a voyager superlight and I couldn't say how well it fits the exact shape of the tent, I doubt there's that much difference . The footprint does not extend into the doorway which is where most of the difference in the models is anyway.

Might be better to get a new groundsheet put in it; probably cheaper than a footprint. In bad weather if you get water between the footprint and the g/sheet then it'll still leak

Why not try a diy version of this. Just go to a foam retailer and get it made to measure.

The same kind of place where folk equip campervans.

Alternatively I have a 25 year old voyager, a bit leaky (fly) but would give you spare poles etc.

You could cut the old groundsheet out and seal it into your groundsheet (internally with seam seal).

Pm me if interested.

Thanks for the replies so far. I've given the tent a good clean and reproof and will test that in a few weeks when next out. I've had Scottish Mountain Gear recommended a few times now so I think I may speak to them about a new groundsheet if needed.
