Camping around Snowdon

Hi,

I'm heading to Snowdonia with a friend from abroad and we plan on doing Crib Goch early in the morning. Are there any places for some wild camping around the area for an easy access to Crib Goch for an early climb?

Park further down the pass, free parking; then camp by little lake in Cwm Glas. Early start up North Ridge onto Crib Goch. Or park near Pen Y Gwyrd Hotel and camp by lake above ready to drop down onto Pen Y Pass the next morning.

Actual proper Camp-site at Llyn Gwynant about 2 miles form Pen Y Pass

the pizza's you can get at Lyn Gwynant are very nice, a welcome ready cooked meal at the end of the day, served with a glass of red, a perfect place to camp.
