I need a new sports rope, and I'm thinking about getting an Edelrid Topaz - I'm after a rope that can take some abuse whilst being light as I can get away with - I'll be using it to work routes as well as for onsites. The Topaz is meant to have a thick weave and thus be more like a 9.5mm - has anyone any experience of one? How do they hold up?
