In October 2014, Jorg Verhoeven spent one month in Yosemite Valley, California with one goal in mind - to make a free ascent of The Nose (5.14), on El Capitan, arguably one of the world's most famous and sought-after climbs.

In this excellent video by Louder Than Eleven productions, Jorg explains what keeps people from climbing this iconic route free and shows his stubborn determination to figure out the hardest pitches.
