Hi,

I have been offered some ML freelance work and I need public liability insurance. Before now I worked at a school so I didn't need any as I was already covered through the school. Does anybody have a good recommendation for the insurance?

Cheers

Hi,

There are a few providers out there...

http://parkinsurance.co.uk/services/leisure/outdoor-activity-insurance/

I don't know who provides the best cover, it will depend on your needs. I would go for £5m PL as a minimum. Different providers can offer different perks if you belong to professional groups such as BMC, MCoS, MTA etc. The MTA insurance through Perkins Slade is a good option for a freelance worker apparently)

Hope this helps.
