In contrast to the other thread, what are people's favourite Christmas tunes?

Mine has to be: Don't let the bells end by The Darkness.

Just fabulous.

Much as I generally can't stand the chap, I do love this Christmas song for it's sheer lunacy:

I thought this one from 2007 was a refreshing change from the usual Xmas pap.

I still like ring out solstice bells by jethro Tull. Cheesy? Of course, but so's Christmas. But then I like Greg lake I believe in Father Christmas ( the full fat version with choir and orchestra, obviously) so what do I know?

Without question my favourite is Boney M- Mary's boy child/Oh my lord. I'm not religious but that song has it all-

Steel drums
A whole verse of humming
Incredible hair

I love it.

I'm not really a huge John Lennon fan but Happy Christmas War Is Over has always been my favourite Christmas song.

Too much humbug on the other thread, and obscurity on this one...

They're not meant to be great art, or even great music, but they take me back to childhood Christmases and that's a good thing. Now I've got kids of my own, they are so excited by Christmas coming up I've actually put a compilation CD of Xmas songs on for them...

I think they're all good, i even really like the chris de burgh one

I draw the line at any of the cliff Richard Xmas output though...
