There used to be a place that rented telemark gear but it appears to have stopped doing so. Does anyone know anywhere that still does. Hoping to get a chance to do some while there after Xmas.

I only have alpine/downhill gear atm so I guess the alternative is to buy my own and take it there...

Will probably be cheaper to buy out there - if you fly into Vancouver there will be well priced gear at the Mountain Equipment Co-op - www.mec.ca - but I would think there would be places to hire still at the resort.

You could actually email the co-op anyway, they are really helpful and might know about somewhere to hire in Whistler.

The Escape Route in town had a rental facility when I lived there many moons ago. They certainly would fire back an email offering advice where to source.

Having got in touch with the tourist office, you can hire from spicy sports in whistler
