If you are on Facebook you can access Climb Rjukan/Tinn page. It's a public group and has almost daily up dates and right now the news is good and getting better.

Friend of mine is out there. He says the temperature is moderate at -10 and plenty of ice everywhere. I look through his facebook pictures bitterly every morning.
I don't think you need to worry if your trip is soon! The only time I went to Rjukan was during a tropical -2 spell and we still climbed/swam.
