Iain Small making Scottish Winter VIII, 9 onsighting look easy, 3 kbIain Small and Uisdean Hawthorn recently made the first winter ascent of Shadhavar (Winter) (VIII 9) E3 in Stob Coire nan Lochan, Glencoe. Iain managed to successfully onsight the two new pitches of hard climbing after seconding the first pitch of Unicorn VIII, 8.

As I understand it, like the summer route, there is just one new pitch (a long one though), not two. I'm assuming they finished up the top pitch of Unicorn?
