Hi, can anyone recommend a good wilderness medical course for remote expeditions, bonus if it includes access to certain prescription only meds as well. Any advice would be great. Cheers!

Along time ago (in a galaxy far far...) I went on a week long course called something like "Advanced medicine for remote foreign travel". The people that ran the course moved on and set up http://wildernessmedicaltraining.co.uk/

The course was *brilliant*. Not only did I learn a great deal, but the other participants on the course were a very interesting bunch. They were mostly mountaineers. I was one of the few people there that hadn't been above something like 22,000feet (I was there for a circumnavigation by yacht!)

another vote for wmt. Dr Harvey Pynn ran a far from help course for the eagle ski club in October which was fantastic. He is an A and E consultant and military so you couldnt get any better.
