To the right and below of the right-hand shoulder of Y Garn, there are several diagonal brown streaks visible in this webcam image (19/01/2016, 09:33). What would people say they are? Areas where full-depth avalanching has cleared snow from the slopes?

You've better eyes than me, I can't see it....
Cornices were buiding around that area, with some cracking as highlighted in the snowdonia thread and its warmed up, so who knows, but I would have thought someone up there would have mentioned it.

There

I know there were cornices above Banana Gully but I don't think there were any above this section. Although it's all grassy slopes there I think, probably very slippery given that it wasn't frozen turf.

I zoomed in and I don't see it. Just looks like a bunch of shallow gullies (with snow still in) with vegetated ridges between them

Cannot see anything.

In reply to Trevers:
It's just differential melting due to small differences in aspect, terrain and surface material.

there was a pic of a full depth muddy avalanche on IIRC Y Garn this weekend that some one had put on the "ground conditions in the UK" Facebook group, so quite likely.
