planning to head down to London for a non-climbing weekend and include a theatre evening, something stimulating, thought provoking and entertaining. I've heard war horse is good, any comments or other or better recommendations?

Lion King is quite nice, and probably as good as war horse.

For thought-provoking - can't go wrong with the museums either. Even though it's "free", I'd give a few hours at the British museum a value of £20-30 in terms of what I'd pay for it if it wasn't.

If you want "entertaining" then 'The Play that goes Wrong' will fit the bill
