Hi

Thinking of Central Gully on Ben Lui, anyone climbed it very recently, or aware of condition for attempt.

Thanks in anticipation

You need to make a very careful assessment of snow conditions on this route. It is well-known as being very prone to avalanche so take great care.

Yeah doesn't look like a time for NE facing gullies to me just the now.

That aspect needs a thaw and then a freeze with no fresh wind slab on top (so either no new snow or snow on easterly winds)

W / NW aspects would be a better bet IMO

..and this isn't looking likely in the near future: the forecast for the next few days is for further fresh snowfall on S to W winds and remaining cold.

I would leave well alone for the time being.
