Size 3 is medium so its not huge by alpine standards but could be remotely triggered, travelled a long way and had a few hundred tons still above to contribute from a roll over that's a hot spot. Big enough to bury several people and deeply because of the terrain trap. Size its always everything so scores a big "C" for consequences.
