Long flight ahead & need inspiration for a new book. What's your favourite running book?

I'll kick things off with Feet in Clouds...

Not just running, but read Iron War recently, definitely worth a look

Very mainstream so you may have already read them but Born to Run and Eat and Run I found both to be great reads and with some great knowledge. Particularly found the ongoing diet debates through both interesting and Eat and Run has the added bonuses of some recipes thrown in for good measure.

From Last To First by Charlie Spedding. His account of the LA Olympic marathon is brilliant and the whole book is really inspiring.

Runner by Lizzy Hawker is very good too.

Feet in the Clouds for me, but really enjoyed Boff Whalley's "Run Wild" too.

+1 for running high. Whilst an annoying person on tv, Chris akabusi's life story is an interesting tale.

Why We Run by Bernd Heinrich. Entertaining mix of fuelling experimentation and world-class ultrarunning where the former might be just wacky (and possibly still is!) if he wasn't also a renowned biologist...
