Austrian Alpine Club - intro alpine courses?
Hey! Anyone here a part of the Austrian Alpine Club? I know they have a UK branch. I'm wanting to do one of their introductory mountaineering courses despite having a bit of experience in the alps. Can anyone offer me any insights into the quality of their programs? Or any experiences on their introductory mountaineering courses? Thank you.

I have only attended their Advanced Mountaineering courses and they were solid. I am assuming the same for their basic courses. In general the quality of the course depends on the guide and level of participants. A neighboring course had a not optimal combination of participants and a very short fused guide. Fun to watch though....
