Hey all,

Looking for a walk tomorrow that covers a few bases. Within 2 hours away (I'm from Hull), so Peak District or North Yorkshire Moors really. 3-4.5 hours walking time, with plenty of height and good views. I'll probably head out about 6ish and need to be back for 3:30 ish.

I'm looking at Kinder Scout or Cleveland hills (Urra moor, cold moor, hasty banks). What would you recommend out the 2? Or any other ssuggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Kieran

Circular frm Clay Bank car park via Urra Moor, Cold Moor and finishing with scramble through the Wainstones and stroll along Hasty Bank is a cracking walk. Amazing views out to sea and the Tees lowlands, also interesting view of ICI works.

Cheers mate.

Was a great walk with great views. The sun was a killer today though. Definite sun stroke later :o haha

Cheers

Glad you enjoyed it. Next time you are in the area I would recommend a circular of Roseberry Topping & Captain Cook's Monument from Great Ayton. Views are even better. Cleveland Hills are a little known gem.
