Alex Puccio's Road to Recovery, 4 kbThis week's Friday Night Video follows US boulderer Alex Puccio's journey to recovery after severely injuring her ACL, MCL and meniscus whilst warming up at a round of the IFSC Boulder World Cup last year. This mini documentary features Alex describing the stages of her recovery, from surgery up to her return to form in the US Nationals and on hard boulders outdoors - just months after going under the knife.

Perhaps the kind of thing best kept to yourself? Women climbers seem to have to put up with enough sexist shit already that we don't need to add to it. There are other website available for that sort of thing; maybe better to try and appreciate Puccio for being a fantastic climber with an interesting and impressive recovery from injury story?

pretty risky stuff .... at 3 months the repaired cruciate becomes quite "boggy" and easily re ruptured then gets stronger over the next 6 months . Like skiers , the knee brace wouldn't protect against a big/bad fall . Positive attitude gets you a long way though !
