i have just been to carnmore bothy. i would say it is cycleable all the way but with a lot of dismounts due to terrain ,drainage ducts etc. i took my bike to the high point and ditched it for the walk in which i have to say was very pleasant as you have time to see the scenery.there were tyre tracks all the way to the barn and i have to take my hat of to the diehards who did this.the track thro the forest follows a natural path and it would be difficult to be led astray. i cant wait to get decent weather and return with a vengeance!
