Lairig Ghru at the moment

Does anyone know if there's any late snow lingering in the Lairig Ghru at the moment?

I was up glen derry to loch etchchan (next door to lairig ghru) and up to Beinn Mheadhoin. No snow in the glens, very little in higher northern faces, just patches holding on. No snow on plateaus. Should be fine but I didn't actually see the lairig.

If there is a little (and I'd be surprised), then it won't affect the walk - you'd easily walk round it

Many thanks Stu and Andy - I'm doing the Lairig Ghru race on Sunday, so I hope I'll be running most of it. I know there was a wee bit early June last year.

Went through there a couple of weeks ago. No snow left in the pass.

Tony I've just uploaded a photo taken from Carn an Righ looking N up the Lairig Ghru on 4 June that backs up the absence of snow.

Once when I did it in late June, a bit of snow on the downhill sections was easier than the boulder hopping.
