Stunning scenery climbing on La Pierre au Lievre, 4 kbAn area with a longer climbing history than many of its adjacent crags, linking it to some of alpinism's greats, but with modern single and multi pitch climbs.

So where is it? Only 20km north of Ceuse to the region's southern edge, west of some of the greats of the Ecrins, such as l'Olan and east of the well know Vercors.

Great advert for a Rockfax guidebook. Can we see equal bias to CC guidebook destinations please.

I'm not greatly in favour of seeing either book publisher trump the other. My collection of guidebooks is probably about 50/50 between the two.

What I do believe is that variety and healthy competition provide a fertile and constructive environment for climbing.

Climbing in the UK is richer for having both CC and UKC/Rockfax in it.
