I recently went to Norway for the first time for a hiking trip. I got to explore varied places from the western Fjords to the Rondane national park. I loved it all. Dovrefjell was my favourite place and I hope to return and explore it some more. Here is my account of the trip..I hope you enjoy,,Stephen

I am staying in Norway this summer, currently based in Drammen. Beautiful country.

We were at Dovrefjell a week before you. Your tent is a bit less conspicuous than ours !

Great report, and interesting to read after my experiences. I don't think we followed the same routes so I can't tease you for missing the paths on the way into the Rondane

Thanks. It is something of a specialty of mine. No matter where I go I seem to lose the trail at some point during each day. I would like to hear about your experiences as well. What a great place.

Nice pictures.
Also just been to Norwyay and Dovrefjell the Muskox was cool to see, kept a greater distance to them though, just did not fancy upsetting something that size that can run at 60 km pr hour

Cheers Mikkel. Love your pictures. I think you really capture just how huge and wild the area is. Trust me..I kept a better distance after my fist encounter. Privileged to see these wonderful wild beasts though.
