I am looking to take a short trip down to the Picos and have some TD routes in mind one of which is the Martinez Somoano, but I have a route on El Jiso and another few around. The main point is I have misplaced all my pegs and hammer after many years of non use. The guide I have mentions for various routes ( not the Martinez ) the need for pegs on belays and in some cases even mentions a need for a wide channel peg for a belay. am I in need of pegs in general or only on some specific routes? Or have things moved on and non are needed any longer? At this point general views would be a help. Many thanks
