Heard there might be a big birdy nesting up there, anyone able to shed any light. I know there have been peregrines around in the past.

There were peregrines nesting there this year, but you'll have to look on the MCofS web-site to see if they are finished.

A note I had from SNH in May said you would probably be able to climb there from end of July onwards. It also said this was the first time nesting here for a number of years.

Cheers for the reply Andy, managed to find the correct MCofS page, looks like Loudon's clear for the time being.

I knew that peregrines had been there (and that a former RM Commando was helping make sure they weren't disturbed by pesky climbers).

Looks like its all good, long as I can find someone to play with.
