There is a post in Lost and Found - http://www.ukclimbing.com/forums/t.php?t=647568 ,
but I thought this needed a bit more exposure as some of the gear may surface. There is a large international caving conference - Eurospeleo - in the Dales this coming week and a number of caves have been rigged for visitors (see eurospeleo..uk/caves if you want to use this opportunity), and the CRO had pre rigged a rescue traverse in Kingsdale Master Cave (which is vulnerable to serious flooding).

Just appalling, particularly as it feels like someone associated with the sport must have been involved.

(and note prompt & generous help from Lyon / Heightec)

There is a bit more discussion on http://ukcaving.com/board/index.php?topic=20737.0

And if you see some cheap screwgates for sale... http://bit.ly/2bbemfZ has some pictures.

That's a pretty low act, and that's not, in a first for me, intended to be a pun.
