Does anyone have any good tips on places to stay in this general area.
Also in the Bangor, Wales area too.

I spent a few days at the camping barn at Taddington a couple of weeks ago. Was ok during the week when it was quiet, but too busy on Friday though.

May not be what you are looking for though - you do need full camping gear except the tent.

I've previously stayed at Thorpe Farm Bunkhouse which was very basic but quite nice.
There is also a hut on the Chatsworth Estate called "Heathy Lea", as far as I am aware you can stay there if you are a BMC member, Chatsworth crag is a couple of minutes walk from the hut.
